Literary Walking Tours

Step into Dublin's stories — where every cobblestone has a sentence, every doorway a chapter.

Guide leading a literary walking tour through Dublin's Georgian streets

Immersive, Place-Led Literary Experiences

Our heritage tours weave together the literary history of Dublin's most evocative streets, squares, and laneways. Led by expert storytellers, each route is built around the writers, works, and cultural identities that have shaped this extraordinary city — from the Georgian grandeur of O'Connell Street to the literary haunts of Temple Bar and Merrion Square.

Perfect for international visitor centres, boutique hotels, heritage organisations, local history societies, and cultural tourism partners, our Dublin culture tours transform a walk into an unforgettable narrative. Each tour can be tailored to audience type, language level, and duration — making them equally suited for school groups, literary festival day-trippers, and corporate hospitality guests.

About Us

About Prose & Pathways

Making literature welcoming, participatory, and alive — for every person, every community, every place.

Prose & Pathways was founded in the heart of Dublin with a single conviction: that stories belong to everyone. Based at 14 O'Connell Street Upper, we set out to make Dublin's extraordinary literary heritage accessible, participatory, and genuinely community-building — not just for tourists or academics, but for every neighbour, student, reader, and curious soul who calls this city home.

Our facilitation approach is warm, inclusive, and deeply grounded in the cultural textures of Ireland. We don't impose literary programmes — we co-design experiences with our partners to ensure every session, every tour, every event speaks directly to the people in the room. Our facilitators are working writers, educators, and cultural practitioners who bring genuine expertise and human generosity to every interaction.

From primary school classrooms to corporate boardrooms, from public library reading rooms to the cobbled streets of Georgian Dublin — we believe literature builds bridges, and we're here to build them with you.

Community-first design — every programme starts with listening, not templates.
Inclusive facilitation — mixed abilities, mixed backgrounds, mixed ages always welcome.
Rooted in place — our programmes honour Dublin's literary identity and local culture.
